1. Who we are

For the purposes of data-protection law, ТОВ "ЦЕНТР-ІНВЕСТ-М" is the controller of the limited personal data described below.

2. What this site is

The site is an independent planning guide to two Dutch windmill sites, Kinderdijk and Zaanse Schans, and to the history and mechanics of polder windmills. It has no user accounts, no login, no registration, no newsletter, no comments, no online shop and no booking or payment system. You can read every page without giving us any information about yourself.

3. Information we process

Technical data in server logs

When you open a page, the web server and hosting infrastructure automatically record standard technical data: your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the browser and device type reported by your browser, and the referring page, if any. We use it only to deliver the site, keep it secure, find and fix errors and detect abuse.

Messages you send us

The site has no contact form. If you write to us by email or call us, for example to report an outdated timetable, we process your contact details and the content of your message to read and answer it. An email goes through your own email provider and arrives in our mailbox. Please do not send us sensitive information such as passport or payment-card details; we never need it.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth, payment details, travel documents or location. We do not build profiles about visitors and we take no automated decisions about you.

4. Interactive elements

The interactive windmill cross-section on the site works entirely in your browser. What you click is not sent to our server, is not stored by us and is not linked to you; closing or reloading the page clears it.

5. Cookies, analytics and fonts

We do not set our own cookies and do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers or social-media widgets on this site. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser details, under Google’s own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If you prefer to avoid this, you can block Google Fonts in your browser; the site stays readable in your default fonts.

6. Why we process data and on what basis

• Delivering and securing the site (server logs, fonts): our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website.
• Answering your messages: our legitimate interest in replying to you and, where you asked for something, the steps you requested.
• Meeting legal obligations: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

7. Who receives data

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for marketing. Data may be processed on our behalf by the hosting and infrastructure providers that serve the site, who may act only on our instructions, and by Google for the fonts described in Section 5. We may disclose data to public authorities when we are legally required to do so or to protect the site against abuse.

8. Transfers abroad

We are based in Ukraine and our visitors come from many countries, so your data may be handled in a country other than your own, including by our hosting providers and by Google. Where a provider is outside your country we rely on the safeguards that applicable law requires.

9. How long we keep data

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting and are then deleted or anonymised under the hosting provider’s routine rotation. Emails and messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless the law requires longer.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to confirm whether we process data about you, to give you a copy, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to the processing, and to complain to your data-protection authority. This follows the Law of Ukraine on the Protection of Personal Data and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR (in the Netherlands the supervisory authority is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). 11. Security

We keep the amount of data we handle to a minimum, which is the most effective protection. The site is served by professional hosting providers and our own access to server data is limited to what is necessary. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-party websites

The site links to Kinderdijk, Zaanse Schans, NS, Waterbus, De Hollandsche Molen and other third parties for current schedules and tickets. Once you follow a link, that third party’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

13. Children

The site is a general travel guide and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. If we ever add analytics, advertising or other tools that process personal data, we will describe them here first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
